Our Story
The aroma hits you before you see it: Dadi Agarwal hard at work in a warm kitchen, started making her widely-loved achaars and pickles during 1950s. Tangy, spicy, sweet and rich with swirls of flavour, these pickles were originally created as gifts for close friends and family. But before long their decadent taste and fresh ingredients made them crowd favourites. And so a tradition was born: year after year, every local household stocked up on Dadi’s homemade achaars. What made them so popular? Well, Dadi Agarwal’s simple philosophy: “Ghar ka khaana sabse badhiyaa hota hai. Usme khaana bananewale ka pyaar jo hota hai.”
